1. Experimental demonstration only
This Seagry Meeting Summary application (the “App”) is provided strictly as an experimental, proof‑of‑concept tool to demonstrate Seagry Consultancy Ltd’s digital capabilities. It is not a live, production-grade product and is not intended for operational, clinical, financial, legal or regulatory decision-making of any kind.
The App may be modified, suspended or withdrawn at any time, without notice.
2. No ongoing maintenance or support
The App is provided as a time‑limited demonstration and is not actively maintained, monitored or supported as a production service. Seagry does not commit to providing bug fixes, updates, availability guarantees, user support, or any other form of operational service in relation to the App.
Seagry offers no warranty, guarantee or service level in respect of the App or any output it generates.
3. How the App works and data handling
When you click “Start Recording”, the App uses your device microphone and the browser’s built‑in speech recognition functionality to create a live transcription of speech. That transcription is displayed to you in real time in the App and can be edited by you before any summary is generated.
When you request a summary, the transcription (including any edits you have made) is sent to Seagry’s own AI processing engine, hosted on Seagry‑controlled infrastructure, to create an automatically generated meeting summary. The App processes input text and audio solely using Seagry’s own data repositories and AI processing infrastructure. The App does not intentionally transmit, sell or share meeting content or personal data with third‑party AI providers or other external organisations for model training or commercial reuse.
The App currently utilises a non‑production server located in the United Kingdom. Data processed by the App is stored in a demonstration repository that is designed to be wiped at least every 30 days. Notwithstanding this intention, Seagry cannot guarantee that all copies of data (for example within system logs or backups) are irretrievably deleted at exactly 30 days in every circumstance.
Because the App relies on live microphone input, you should avoid using it in open or public areas where conversations or sounds from bystanders may be captured. You are responsible for ensuring that all participants are aware of and consent to any recording, and for avoiding the capture of conversations where there is a reasonable expectation of privacy.
4. Your responsibilities when using the App
You are responsible for ensuring that the way you use the App complies with your own organisational policies (including information governance, data protection and confidentiality requirements) and with applicable law. You must not use the App to process highly sensitive or special category data unless you have appropriate authority to do so and have carried out your own risk assessment.
You remain responsible for reviewing, validating and, where appropriate, redacting any content you submit to or receive from the App before it is used, stored, shared or relied upon.
5. No advice, no reliance and accuracy limitations
The App uses AI techniques to generate summaries and other outputs from meeting content. These outputs are generated automatically and may be incomplete, inaccurate, outdated, biased or misleading. They are provided for illustrative and exploratory purposes only.
The App does not provide professional advice of any kind (including but not limited to clinical, medical, legal, financial, operational or management advice), and must not be relied upon as such. Any actions you take based on the outputs of the App are taken entirely at your own risk.
Seagry does not represent, warrant or guarantee that the App or its outputs are accurate, complete, reliable, current, suitable or fit for any particular purpose.
6. Exclusions and limitations of liability
To the fullest extent permitted by applicable law, Seagry Consultancy Ltd and its directors, employees, contractors and affiliates (together, “Seagry”) exclude all liability for any loss, damage, costs or expenses of any kind (whether direct, indirect, incidental, consequential, special or punitive, and whether arising in contract, tort, negligence, breach of statutory duty or otherwise) arising out of or in connection with:
- your access to or use of (or inability to use) the App; or
- any reliance placed on outputs or content generated by the App.
Nothing in these Terms of Use operates to exclude or limit any liability that cannot lawfully be excluded or limited, such as liability for death or personal injury caused by negligence or for fraud or fraudulent misrepresentation.
7. Intellectual property
All intellectual property rights in and to the App (including, without limitation, software, design, branding, logos and underlying models) are owned by or licensed to Seagry. You are granted a non‑exclusive, revocable, non‑transferable licence to use the App solely for evaluation and demonstration purposes.
You must not reverse engineer, decompile, disassemble, copy, modify, distribute, commercialise or create derivative works from the App except to the extent permitted by law.
8. Changes to these Terms
Seagry may update these Terms of Use from time to time. Any changes will be effective when posted in the App. Your continued use of the App after any changes are made constitutes your acceptance of the updated terms.
9. Governing law and jurisdiction
These Terms of Use, and any dispute or claim arising out of or in connection with them or their subject matter or formation (including non‑contractual disputes or claims), are governed by and construed in accordance with the laws of England and Wales. The courts of England and Wales shall have exclusive jurisdiction to settle any such dispute or claim.
10. Acceptance of these Terms
By accessing or using the App, you confirm that you have read, understood and agree to be bound by these Terms of Use. If you do not agree with these terms, you must not use the App.
